A venue I know well

I have played Oxleaze Barn out near Lechlade, a Cotswold stone barn on a thriving organic farm. The main barn and the milling barn beside it are exclusively yours for the day, and that floor is built for a proper party right up to the midnight finish.

So when you book me, you are not getting a DJ seeing the room for the first time on the day. The set-up, the timings, the way the energy carries from dinner to the last song. I have done it here before, and I will do it for you.

The whole barn is yours

For the day the main barn and the adjoining milling barn belong to you and your guests, with the courtyard garden outside. No other party and no rush, just your night running at its own pace.

Know the timing

There is a midnight finish, with everyone out of the barn by then. So the evening builds steadily and the last hour really counts. I shape the set so the floor peaks at exactly the right time.

I read the room, not a playlist

I have watched this floor fill before, so I know when to push and when to hold. The set is built around your night and your crowd, on the night, not from a list sent weeks before.

The questions I get asked most, answered.

How early do you get there to set up?
I arrive in good time to load in, set up and soundcheck, so everything is ready well before your guests arrive. I confirm exact access timings with the Oxleaze team beforehand.
Can we have confetti?
Natural flower petals are welcome at Oxleaze for the throw. Fireworks are a no because it is a working farm with animals nearby, but petals are fine. I will confirm the latest policy with the team.
Do they allow haze and foggers?
Haze is what makes the lighting look incredible, and I run my CO2 effects for the big moments. Heavier smoke I always clear with the team first, in case of the barn alarm system.
Is there a sound limiter?
No sound limiter that I am aware of at Oxleaze, so I can run a full, punchy sound. The barn finishes at midnight, so the whole night is built to peak before then.
Any other restrictions worth knowing?
Fireworks are not allowed, as it is a working organic farm with animals close by. There is an in-house bar, the Watering Hole, and accommodation on site that sleeps twelve, so a lot of the celebration stays under one roof.
