A venue I know well

I have played Hyde House, the exclusive-use estate near Stow-on-the-Wold. The Barn is an oak-beamed blank canvas with its own dancefloor, the kind of room I love to build a night in.

So when you book me, you are not getting a DJ seeing the room for the first time on the day. The set-up, the timings, the way the energy carries from dinner to the last song. I have done it here before, and I will do it for you.

A blank canvas with a dancefloor

The Barn is an oak-beamed, vaulted hall with a dedicated DJ space and dance floor, and the whole estate is yours for the day. A blank canvas like this is where knowing the room really pays off.

I read the room, not a playlist

I have watched this floor fill enough times to know when to push and when to hold. The set is built around your night and your crowd, on the night, not from a list sent weeks before.

I bring the full rig

I bring my own proper sound and lighting, set up and tested before your guests arrive, so the night sounds and looks exactly as it should.

The questions I get asked most, answered.

How early do you get there to set up?
It is exclusive-use, so there is plenty of time to load in, set up and soundcheck before your guests arrive. I confirm exact timings with the team beforehand.
Can we have confetti?
Yes, biodegradable confetti, paper discs or natural dried petals.
Do they allow haze and foggers?
Haze is what makes the lighting look incredible, and I run my CO2 effects for the big moments. Heavier smoke I always clear with the team first.
Is there a sound limiter?
No sound limiter that I am aware of. The venue is licensed to midnight, with everyone away by 1am. I build the set so the floor peaks right before the end.
Any other restrictions worth knowing?
It is licensed to midnight with a 1am vacate. The Barn has dedicated band and DJ areas, so we plan the layout together.
Anything to be aware of for a party here?
The Barn is the main party room, an oak-beamed vaulted hall with double-height windows, a blank canvas with a dance floor. Up to 150 for the day and 175 in the evening.
