Haze, smoke and CO2 are effects a lot of venues only clear for suppliers they trust. At Elmore I am approved for all three, which is not something every DJ here can offer.

A venue I know well

I have played Elmore Court many times. Long enough to know how the Gillyflower fills, where the night peaks, and how to keep a floor moving in a room built for exactly that.

So when you book me for Elmore, you are not getting a DJ seeing the room for the first time on the day. The set-up, the timings, the way the energy carries from dinner to the last song. I have done it here before, and I will do it for you.

A pavilion built for volume

The Gillyflower is Elmore’s purpose-built, fully soundproofed pavilion with a Funktion-One system. A proper full-volume night without disturbing the historic house, and I know how to get the best out of that rig.

I read the room, not a playlist

I have watched this floor fill enough times to know when to push and when to hold. The set is built around your night and your crowd, on the night, not from a list sent weeks before.

I handle the venue side

I speak to the Elmore coordinators before the day, so timings, set-up and access are sorted between us. One less thing on your list.

The questions I get asked most, answered. The useful detail that makes planning the night easier.

How early do you get there to set up?
I arrive in good time to load in, set up and soundcheck, so everything is tested and ready well before your guests come through. And because the Gillyflower is its own space, there is no room turnaround to wait on. I can set up discreetly, without it ever impacting you or your guests, which keeps the whole day running to time. I confirm exact access timings with your coordinator beforehand.
Can we do a grand reveal for our first dance?
Yes, and this is something a bit special to Elmore. You can keep the curtains closed and have a grand reveal of the room for your first dance, which is genuinely unique, or have them open with everyone already gathered around. Whichever suits the moment you want, we plan it together beforehand.
Can we have confetti?
Yes, inside and out, as long as it is natural biodegradable petals. Confetti cannons are not permitted at Elmore, so plan for the throw rather than the bang.
Do they allow haze and foggers?
Yes to both. Haze is what gives the beams that look you see in my photos from there, and I run my vertical CO2 fog effect at Elmore too, for the first dance, the drop, the big singalong moments. The room is built for a proper light show.
Is there a sound limiter?
None. Zero. Elmore has no sound limiter at all, and the system in there is genuinely wild. The Gillyflower is soundproofed, so this is one of the rare rooms where you can play it exactly as loud as the night wants, with nothing ever cutting your favourite song dead.
Any other restrictions worth knowing?
A few handy ones for planning the styling: candles are welcome in holders, but nothing can be fixed to the rammed-earth walls. There is a copper rail running around the room and the dancefloor to hang things from instead, and sparklers are fine outdoors.
Anything to be aware of for a party here?
The Gillyflower is purpose-built for it: soundproofed, Funktion-One sound, discreet mood lighting, and room for 60 up to 200-plus. The music runs in there into the night, and the after-party drifts back to the house’s Drawing Room. Honestly, it is one of my favourite rooms in Gloucestershire to play.

An honest tip from the booth

The bar at Elmore sits just out of my eyeline from the decks. So here is my one bit of advice: get the two of you on the dancefloor and it will never empty, your guests follow the couple all night. Spend the evening at the bar instead and I genuinely cannot see whether you are having the time of your lives. Get on that floor, and leave the rest to me.
