A venue I know well

I have played Bowden Hall more than almost anywhere, fourteen nights and counting. The Lakeside Suite is a proper party room, and I know exactly how it fills.

So when you book me, you are not getting a DJ seeing the room for the first time on the day. The set-up, the timings, the way the energy carries from dinner to the last song. I have done it here before, and I will do it for you.

The Lakeside Suite is its own world

A self-contained suite with its own private entrance, bar, foyer and built-in dance floor, looking out over the lake. The whole party stays in one place, and it is licensed until 1am.

No noise limits on the floor

There is no sound limiter here, so I can run a full, proper night. I bring my own sound and lighting, set up and tested before your guests come in.

I know the room cold

After fourteen nights at Bowden Hall, I know exactly how the Lakeside Suite fills and where the night peaks. That many weddings teaches you a room.

The questions I get asked most, answered.

How early do you get there to set up?
I can get in the day before or from 7am on the morning, so everything is set up, tested and ready long before your guests arrive.
Can we have confetti?
Yes, as long as it is biodegradable. Confetti cannons are not part of the setup here.
Do they allow haze and foggers?
Haze is what makes the lighting look incredible, and I run my CO2 effects for the big moments. Heavier smoke I always clear with the team first.
Is there a sound limiter?
No sound limiter, and no noise restrictions on the floor, so you get a full-volume night. The Lakeside Suite is licensed until 1am.
Any other restrictions worth knowing?
A couple worth knowing for the styling: candles need to be the fake kind rather than real flames, and fireworks are not permitted here. Confetti must be biodegradable.
Anything to be aware of for a party here?
The Lakeside Suite is completely self-contained, with its own bar and a dance floor looking over the lake, and the hotel has rooms so guests can stay on site. Licensed to 1am for a proper late one.

The app Dan uses is a great, and allows you to tailor those key songs for the big day. On our wedding day, Dan went the extra mile and started the night with a DJ set outside for our cocktail hour, nailing the summer vibe perfectly!
